Having completed our eighth month of traveling, we are certainly filled with a bit more optimism than in the previous few days. Cautious optimism, obviously. We will just have to wait and see.

Too good! Today we were invited over to our neighbours’ for Sunday lunch. The wife is a beautiful lady that has really taken a shine to Charlie. She wanted to show him a few Italian kitchen tricks. Linguini zucchini e gamberetti, pasta e fagioli, poached swordfish, and the local dessert, baba soaked in rum. A truly splendid meal.
