A lot of introspection and decision-making was required today. It’s always tough when things don’t go exactly to plan, but I suppose we should be used to that by now.

Back in May, what seems like an eternity ago, we met an amazing couple while trekking in Nepal. The Plums provided us with lots of laughs, and we felt an immediate connection with them. Tonight, we got to catch up with them at one of our favourite little haunts here, The Box. What a great night! These guys are nothing short of inspirational.

We’ve been trying to stay as positive as possible about being able to continue traveling, but things just don’t seem to be falling into place quite like we need them too. I’m astonished that finding work hasn’t been easier for us, and I’m even more shocked at the real lack of affordable mid-term accommodation. It’s been a blast so far, but our days may very well be numbered.
